You can use outdoor string lights to bring an extra bit of light to your outdoor dinner party, or even twist them around vertical columns to provide tasteful illumination. These lights, if they’re outdoor rated, can withstand moisture and high temperatures. When hanging them, be sure to use plastic hooks as metallic ones could potentially damage the wires. If you want to hide the cords, you can use duct tape to adhere them to the ground before covering them with a rug or mat.
